Beating with a big heart, grounded by a powerful legacy, driven by nothing but love; Run Da Riddim was conceptualised by young visionary talent Calum Leighton and long-time friend Olly Ley. An inspired and deeply dedicated junglist who cut his teeth at iconic Bath event Revelations, Leighton was just emerging and establishing himself as an exciting young new-gen talent when he was tragically taken from us far too soon in a car accident on 21 August 2022, less than 24 hours after he had officially launched Run Da Riddim with a hugely successful Summer Day Event. 

Calum and Olly’s idea was to create a label so they could not only represent themselves professionally, but also provide a platform for a new generation of artists who are breaking through and putting their own stamp on the UK’s cultural youth music phenomenon that is jungle drum & bass, expressing their love and passion for music with more than a brand but a movement.

Galvanised by the young artist’s motto ‘let’s make jungle massive again’, Run Da Riddim will do everything in its power to ensure Leighton’s bright flame never goes out and his influence and presence live on in this powerful and unique UK movement.
